Child Rights and You (CRY) Bangalore is supporting a project entitled Bringing Sustainable Transformation in the lives of marginalized people like children, dalits, adivasis, women and differently abled through achieving community Empowerment and Social justice since 1998. Under the project, organization worked for the development of the Children Tribes and Dalit communities through awareness generation, distribution of IEC material, organizing kalajathas, convergence with line Departments, capacity building trainings, advocacy & lobbing with Govt.,
promoting & strengthening of children and adolescent girls, women and community sangas to strengthening village level institutions like Anganawadies, Primary, UP, and High Schools, Social welfare Hostels, PDS centers, Sub-centers, PHCs through community participation & ownership. The project supports the pregnant women to avail the ANC and PNC care, Immunization services at the Government hospitals, promoting institutional deliveries, and Birth registrations, reduce the IMR, MMR, under 5 MR, eradication of child marriages, rejoining of the school dropouts, and the child labour in schools. The project covers the major areas of Srikalahasti, Renigunta, Chinnagottigallu with the collaboration of CWC, Child Help line, Police, Revenue, Education, Health, Women and Child welfare department.
