Apple & Twitter allotted 7 Remedial Teachers for providing special coaching to the children, all the children are not continuing their studies because closure of schools. It helps the children to continue their studies in COVID19 pandemic time. The program was started from 10th August 2021; in the project area PRAGATHI selected 7 qualified teachers to cover 200 children per teacher in 2 villages. The teachers conducting 2 study sessions (Morning and Evening) regularly as per the study plan in different villages. As per the instructions from CRY it’s planned to conduct study sessions in schools, after consultation of the concern school teachers finalized the schools.
Supplementary education Classes: Due to COVID pandemic all the educational institutions were closed since long time, because of no schools most of the children are becoming child labour. In this context PRAGATHI identified qualified persons in the village and encouraged them to conduct supplementary classes to the children in free time. The identified 21 volunteers from 21 villages, the identified volunteers are taken the supplementary education to the children in the evening times. At present 101 children were participating in the education program.
